Welcome to my web site.
A little about myself. My name is Marla, a bigendered woman but that is only half of my gender self. There is also a strong masculine self in me, but that is for another web site. What does this mean? Simply put, I enjoy living both as a man and a woman. Each unique gender gives me different outlets in which to express my person and interact with others. I find such a lifestyle both enjoyable and fulfilling, giving me access to experiences and relationships that just are not open to mono-gendered individuals.
Does this mean that I want to change my body from male to female? Definitely not. Gender is not about what your genitals look like, it's about who you are as a person and how you interact with society. And I have found that I have no need to change my body just to be me.
I live in the mountain west of Denver Colorado and enjoy a full and diverse life. Take a look at my site to learn a little about me.

Dating
Since it is the most common question I seem to be asked, yes, I am single and date. I am also bisexual, so I do date men and women although my preference leans a bit more towards women.
As for what I am looking for, it can be anything from an enjoyable night on the town with a friend to a torrid love affair and even a life partner.
Either man or woman, you should be intelligent and educated, in fairly good physical, financial and emotional condition and live in the Denver area. You should enjoy life and it's diversity and be successful in whatever your life's undertaking might have been. You should also be single or polyamorous. Please no drugs or smoking.
In women, I am looking for someone 35-55, who would be attracted both to my masculine self as well as my feminine self. You should enjoy your own femininity at least some of the time but are looking for a balanced and equal relationship.
In men, I am looking for someone 45-65, who understands what it is to be a gentleman and make a woman feel like a woman. Unlike with what I am looking for in women, I only date men as a woman, I'm not interested in dating men as a man.
If you think there may be a match here, do drop me a line.
Question Time (FAQ)...
Are you a girl or a boy?
Yes.
Well then, what gender label do you wear?
I normally try to avoid labels for they have a tendency to falsely stereotype people, but if you want to attach one to me, bigendered or transgendered might be accurate, and crossdresser might be correct but inaccurate. Still labels are sometimes important if they are used properly.
Do you sexually prefer men or women?
At my foundations, as a man I am heterosexual and prefer women, as a woman I find myself bisexual with a slight preference towards women. Interestingly enough, I find my attraction to men to feel heterosexual. I'm fascinated that my own sexuality seems to change based on my gender expression. If that has any implications outside my own person, it implies that sexual preference is partially a social construct and is not just a biological construct.
How long have you been doing this?
I've always know this was a part of me. But till I was 30 or so, I put it on hold because I had other aspects of my life to explore. Since then, I've explored and expanded my gender self, until today when I have both my masculine and feminine side well integrated.
Do you go out in public? Do people know?
Yes, I go out all the time in public in both gender roles. Most friends, my church, and many business associates know about both aspects of myself. There are some however that know only aspect of my gender person (mostly acquaintances, I like my friends to know all of me).
Have you thought about being a girl permanently?
Not really. Although I have lived as a woman for weeks at a time, that of me that is masculine is just as important to myself as that which is feminine. As such, I couldn't give up my masculine self any more than I could give up my feminine self.
Do you take female hormones to achieve your look?
No, hormones to me are fairly dangerous drugs that can have serious side effects. As such, I believe they should only be taken after much consideration and thought (and that includes herbal hormones as well). I don't seem to need them so it's an unnecessary decision for myself.

Although I haven't danced for a few years, here are some shots of my belly dance days.
Among other things, I'm an artist. While you can find a lot more information on my art at http://touchofmarla.com, here are some examples of my work.
